Tobin promises to ensure the Cork Branch of the Irish Socialist Republican Party sends some funds for the 'Workers' Republic', and the election fund. He also notes that Lehane's lecture had "a large and interested audience and he cleared the atmosphere of some general misconceptions relating to Social Democracy".
