Lehane also asks O'Brien to ensure James Connolly received his membership application for the Irish Transport and General Workers' Union; informs him that he had met Francis Sheehy-Skeffington; and that his "brother Tom [Thomas J. O'Brien] is taking the wrong position in the [First World] war".
