Hearne writes of the publication "You should be proud to have contributed to history, the very innermost thoughts of the many patriotic Irishmen who dedicated their intellects, their fortunes, and their lives, to the cause of Irish freedom. This labor of love on your part, and that of your associate Mr Ryan, will go down in history as a great mine of information to those seeking the light.".
