Letter from Cathal O'Shannon to William O'Brien regarding material for use in the preparation of a book about James Connolly's life and writing, and about labour matters in Ireland,
1921 June 23.
O'Shannon asks whether the union [Irish Transport and General Workers' Union] was formed in 1908 or early 1909, refers to a French translation of 'Labour in Ireland' and expresses regret that he did not get in contact with John Leslie. He also writes about the "discipline" resolution, the "G.P." "A.H.", "B.H." "J.L" and that it "would be best if the union took up the paper".
