Letter from William O'Brien to "Governor" concerning letters by an anonymous writer and by James Plunkett Kelly, both published in the 'Irish Times', and O'Brien's intention to reply to same,

O'Brien writes "I got a letter of congratulation from Joe McGrath in which he said if his guess of who the writer was was correct, there would be a "come back". In my reply to him I said my guess was Ferguson of the W.U.I and if I was right there would be no 'come back'". He also writes of James Plunkett Kelly's letter, "He is hardly worth powder & shot, but I am prepairing [sic] a reply so as to get some more in. Tom Johnson's comments to Cathal O'Shannon on my letter was 'they asked for it'".
