Nunan describes the Committee's fund-raising campaign, as aided by the Irish Women's Council, and asks Foran whether he would write a biographical article on Larkin for publication in the American press. He asks whether it would be possible to smuggle Larkin's eldest son [James Jnr.] over to New York to make a personal appeal for his father. Nunan also makes reference to John J. Lyng, Thomas J. Lyng, T.J. Nunan and Jack Carney.
