Copy-letter from Thomas Foran, president of the Irish Transport and General Workers' Union, to Edward H. Andrews of Dame Street, Dublin, acknowledging Andrew's proposals from previous correspondence and suggesting he contact the Dublin Trades Council to help resolve the industrial dispute,

1919 February 19.

Foran suggests that, even though an employer may not force an employee to join a trade union, he suggests employees "have the right to bring pressure upon any other worker to join a Trade Union, even going to the extent of striking to enforce their views".
