Connolly writes that he may spend some time in Canada and be back in Dublin by the end of the year. He also refers to election matters in Dublin, [William] McLaughlin, his own confidence in Thomas J. Lyng, and to the importance of making connections in the United States that "will earn us friends and subscribers in the future".
