With manuscript note by William O'Brien reading "Kennedy Clerk Arigna Ming Co. (who always posed as our friend) has been going around the Country posting notices same as this in order to stop customers from coming to buy coal. Note he does not say - seized by workers or miners - he could get nobody to post them. Had to do it himself..." [sic].
