Includes letters from the Irish County Councils' Officals' Association (1912), Irish Land Commission concerning his request for a pay rise (19 May 1935), from David O'Keefe, County Manager, concerning Fahy's appointment as Acting Secretary of the Council (18 July 1945), and letters from the secretary of Clare County Council, concerning a financial audit (8 May 1946) and enquiring about the Council's ownership of Ennis Town Hall (12 Feb 1952).

Also included is Fahy's correspondence with P. Baker of Clonmel Court House, concerning the reasons behind the pay rises granted to labourers in Corofin, Ennis and Tulla, Co. Clare. Fahy, in his copy reply, writes 'labour is now well organised in this county, especially in Ennis Urban, and the leaders there are always willing to use their best efforts in regard to outside districts'.
