Letter from P. Ó Ceallaigh, Irish Transport and General Workers Union, to Thomas Farren asking him to intercede in a workers' strike in Waterford,
1918 December 29.
Ó Ceallaigh describes a dispute raised by the employees of "Wallis" and their strike when their demands were not met, writing that they are "spoiling any chance of settlement of their own case, and, as well, spoiling the chances of their comrade carriers in Cork and Limerick, who, Wallis has agreed, are also to be included in the arbitration".
