The pamphlet was printed in the aftermath of the shooting of Irish Volunteers and civilians during the Howth gun-running. Sir Roger Casment calls on Irish-Americans to realise that money they donate for the acquisition of guns for the Irish cause is being squandered by Joseph McGarrity, Joseph McLaughlin, Fr. Gerald Coughlan, and Irish politicians and priests.
