Undated typescript drafts of the political writings of the author, republican and diplomat Robert Brennan. Includes his own memoirs relating to his diplomatic posting in Washington throughout World War II and drafts of the articles on Éamonn De Valera which were serialised in the 'Irish Press' newspaper in 1958. Brennan's writings on De Valera begin with his first meeting with De Valera when they were both in prison following the 1916 Rising and cover his political career up to and during World War II.
