Letter from Michael Francis Doyle to Joseph McGarrity regarding letters of Sir Roger Casement and a falling out with Dr. William J. Maloney over a fund raised for Agnes Newman,
1931 Nov. 30.
McGarrity had asked Doyle to send letters written by Casement to Dr. Charles E. Curry for use in a book but Doyle writes that he has never seen them. Doyle regrets writing a letter to Dr. William J. Maloney on behalf of Casement's sister, Agnes Newman as it has soured their friendship. The letter related to a dispute over money raised for Newman, who believed some had been withheld from her.
