The writer wishes to clarify that the money is for the Refugee Fund, not the White Cross, and requestst that all money held for the Fund be sent in immediately since it has closed. Michael Collins was Minister of Finance in 1921. Some contemporary accounts refer to the Fund as a front for arms smuggling.
