Kathleen O'Brennan refers to her play 'Napper Tandy', to be produced at the Gaiety Theatre in September, and the older play 'The Gombeen Man'. The person referrred to as the "Manager of the Abbey" may be Ernest Blythe who was the Theatre's Managing Director in 1947.
