Áine Ceannt refers to the acccount in the book 'Prison Letters of Countess Markievicz' in which Éamonn Ceannt was "deposed" before the surrender of the 4th Battalion during the Easter Rising, 1916 and Con Colbert surrendered and was subsequently shot.
