Milligan explains why she has decided not to attend the A.E. Memorial. She was offered a house in Omagh, which she describes; and was invited to join the Irish P.E.N. Club, but had received communications "from a young man S. O'Falon who had written an outrageous attack on Constantina Marceviz in the Irish Times [...] I won't go up except to hear from this secretary (a new man) that O'Fallon is no longer on the Committee."
