Clarke writes "I saw a copy of a letter that Miss Quinn sent to P.J. Daly - he sent the copy to Cohalan, tis the vilest tirade I ever read against the fakirs of Clan na Gael - she also sent across a bunch of affidavits to Mrs. MacBride to be used against the Major - she is a vile slut".
