Letter from P.J. McLynnskey, grocer and merchant on Main Street, Castlebar. MyLynnskey asks to hire a set of pipes until 6 June, in order that a young female person may use them to compete in an upcoming feis in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. He says "I will garantee [sic] the pipes to be returned in as good order a I receive them, the person intended to play them has to learn yet, so that I should require them at once, she plays on the violin and flute already".
