Notes:Éamon Martin (1892-1971) was a founding member of Fianna Éireann, along with Bulmer Hobson and Constance Markievicz, and attended the inaugural Fianna meeting in Dublin on 16th August 1909. He later became Fianna Chief of Staff. Martin was involved in the organisation of the Howth and Kilcoole gun-running events of 1914, and was Commandant of the Dublin Brigade during the 1916 Easter Rising. On Easter Monday 1916, Martin was tasked with attacking the Magazine Fort in the Phoenix Park. This was intended to act as both a source of weaponry and to signal the start of the Rising. After this attack, Martin was shot and injured during fighting near Broadstone Station, Church Street. Martin was also involved in smuggling Éamon DeValera out of Ireland to attend the Irish Race Convention in Paris, 1922. In later life, Martin's focus was on organising commemorations and memorials for those involved in the activities of 1916-1922, and on promoting an accurate history of events surrounding Fianna Éireann and Easter 1916.
