Literary papers of the author, journalist, republican and diplomat Robert Brennan, including typescript drafts of his novel 'The Midnight Manuscripts', short stories and articles (largely undated), clippings from 'Ireland's Own', containing his published detective stories which were serialized in the magazine, correspondence and related documentation concerning his plays 'Bystander' and 'Good Night Mr. O'Donnell', his contributions to the 'Irish Press' newspaper and his autobiography 'Alliegiance' (1950). Included are letters from Padraic Pearse, Ernest Blythe, Rosamund Jacobs and Thomas MacGreevy.
