Contains Edgeworth's correspondence with doctors Dr. Peter Holland, Dr. Philip Crampton and Sir Anthony Carlisle, in which he refers to his health. Holland, in his letter to Edgeworth, dated 28 Jan. 1817, also refers to his son Henry Holland's medical career and the difficulties faced by the poor following a severe winter in England.
