Contains correspondence dating from Arthur Griffith's imprisonment in Reading and Gloucester jails. Includes a Christmas card from C. M. Doyle (most probably Crissie M. Doyle), dated 21 December 1916 and a copy letter from Griffith to Sean T. O'Kelly written from Gloucester Prison (dated 23 January 1919) , in which he outlines a series of suggestions for various strategies that could be taken up by the Dáil in his absence.
