1815-1817.

Hamilton, in a letter dated 8 July 1815, refers to horticultural matters, her thoughts on Lady Louisa Connolly and Miss Emily Napier ('perfection'), fashion recommendations from William FitzGerald's daughter Lady Isabella de Chabot and Daniel Tighe's military exploits in France. In an undated letter to Ponsonby, she writes of the death of her aunt Blachford (most probably Theodosia Blachford, d. 1817). Ponsonby, in her letter to Hamilton, writes of her recent ill health, gardening, their mutual friends and their exchange of recipes.
