Contains a journal written by Theodosia Blachford (née Tighe) covering the years 1773-1774, her recollections of her husband Rev. William Blachford and his final illness, and a personal memoir, dated 1780, which focuses on her own spiritual life and religious conversion. Also included are letters to Sarah Ponsonby, dated 1783, and some correspondence with her children John Blachford and the poet Mary Tighe.
