Explains how fulfilled he feels now that there is a perfect communication between them; how on 19 September, in the middle of a battle under the rain, he had a moment of despair; that is why he wrote to her on 26 and 27 of September opening up completely and has done so in every letter since. Mentions Marthe Cadoux and her hardships, Mme C[apamagian], Mme Millard and Mme Labelonge.
