---|---|
Description: | Correspondence between Seumas O'Sullivan (James Sharkey) and George Hetherington (Thomas Keohler's son-in-law) concerning the selection of poems for a posthumous collection of Keohler's work, privately printed in 1945. There is some related correspondence from Henry F. Norman, who also selected poems and wrote the book's foreword. This section also includes six letters and postcards from O'Sullivan to Keohler; a memorial poem to Keohler, by O'Sullivan, entitled "In memoriam: A.E. 1935, T.G.K. 1942"; an untitled poem beginning "When the pale twilight minarets topple down..."; and a typescript article on O'Sullivan's poetry, probably by Keohler. |
