Minutes of the Administrative Council which took place on 24 Sept 1980 principally concerning: approval of Party programme for presentation to Party conference; resignation of the General Secretary; appointment of Seamus Scally as Acting General Secretary; appointment of conference arrangements committee; amendment of standing orders for Dáil selection conventions; adoption of draft sections of the Annual report; motion regarding penal reform; motion regarding provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) prisoners in Northern Ireland; and policy statement on International Development Co-operation.
