Contains three memoranda by John Pitt Kennedy in which he recounts Sir Charles Napier's death and memorial statue, and a lock of William Napier's hair which was sent to Kennedy upon his death. Also included is a typescript poem by "Miss Jones" celebrating Sir Charles Napier's accomplishments, headed "Lines by ******* on being called upon to propose the health of the hero of Scinde [Napier] at a party given by a lady artist in London, in celebration of the gallant general's victories".
