Notes: | Charles Robert Hamilton, J.P. of counties Meath and Dublin, was the eldest son of Charles William Hamilton of Hamwood House, near Dunboyne, Co. Meath, and Letitia Charlotte (née Armstrong). He was married to Louisa Brooke of Dublin, with whom he had ten children, among them the artists Eva and Letitia Hamilton. He succeeded to the Hamwood estate in 1880 and followed his grand-father and father in the role of agent to the Duke of Leinster. Physical description: 3 folders more |
