Contains a letter to William Tighe from Charles J. Blomfield, dated 14 February 1814, concerning the progress of Tighe's son William Frederick Tighe, who was then studying at Cambridge. Blomfield also refers to Tighe's second son Daniel, who he recalls as giving him 'a great deal of trouble & anxiety'. Annotations on Blomfield's letter are in Caroline Hamilton's hand.
