Party officers meetings consisted exclusively of the 'office holders' of the Labour Party. Officholders were chosesn by: the Party conference in the case of the Party Chair, and the Vice-Chair; the Parliamentary Labour Party in the case of the Party Leader and Deputy Leader; and by the Administrative Council/National Executive in the case of the Internaional Secretary, the National Organiser and the General Secretary.

Notes:Party officer meetings were infrequent and iregular with the day to day managment of the organisation conduced by the administration committee, which was subsequently renamed the managment sub-committee. This committee had identital membership to party officers and thus there is a great deal of overlap between the work of both bodies.
