Letter from Joseph Roos, Staats-Herold, Chicago, to Methold Sidney Parry, requesting information about Roger Casement for Julius Klein's biography of Casement,

1934 September 15.

Roos asks for information about Casement's uncle Edward Bannister [father of Gertrude Bannister] who was British-Consul in the Congo and also information about Sir Alfred Inves [Lewis Jones?]. He says that he heard that "Casement's diary was reprinted in America and that he left the original manuscript with Dr. Currie [sic] in Munich, but so far I have been unable to find out when and where it was published and to secure a copy". Roos also asks for information about Casement's brother Tom and if he could have a copy of Casement's last will so that they can reprint it in the book.
