Grantham's memoir provides an account of his move from the United States to Dublin in 1953, his work scripting radio shows 'What Are They Talking About?' and 'Milo and Maureen', his collaboration with fellow American Bill Nugent on creating and scripting 'The Kennedys of Castleross' and, from 1967, his scripting of 'The Road Around Ireland'; all programmes were broadcast on Radio Éireann.
