Mainly concerning financial, business and legal matters, lands, Bogs, tenants and leases, use of estate resources such as timber and turf. Includes: a letter to James Moore of Aghnacloy concerning lands bought by Dean Leslie from the son of John Mckenna, (the mannor also claimed by Moore), dated ca. 1700; a letter from Maynes to John Rawdon (land agent) re chairs, noting rents set for Annagh Bog on verso, dated 1787; an estimate by M? Louch re the Glaslough Estate garden wall, dated 1779; and a fair copy of renewable leases of Emyvale with remarks on W. & J. Ogle. Some reference is made to Charles Powell Leslie's political activites and volunteering.
