The postcards comprise 6 real photographic studies, including a group portrait of the sergeants of the 14th (Young Citizens) Battalion Royal Irish Rifles, taken 30th of April 1914, and 3 group photographs of various other ranks of the 6th Inniskilling Dragoons, including one of mounted members of the regiment at the Royal Irish Tournament, 1907. The photographs comprise 4 studies of the Leinster Regiment during field exercises at Mosney Camp, July 1914, on the eve of the outbreak of the First World War.
