Album of photographs showing the effects of the shelling of the G.P.O. by Crown Forces during the Easter Rising, taken by J. W. O'Neill, Assistant Engineer at the G.P.O., immediately after the surrender of the Irish Volunteers. Also included are photographs showing the reactivation of the postal service in a temporary location in Amiens Street. Manuscript descriptions beneath each photograph. Included is an typescript explanatory list compiled by the the Chief Engineer, dated 16 May 1916.
