Cuimhne na Marbh: The Memory of the Dead...The 20th anniversary of the martyrdom of Roger Casement (who died for Ireland in Pentonville Prison on the 3rd August, 1916) will be commemorated at The Hall, 84 Blackfriars Road, S.E.1 on Sun., Sep. 6th, 1936 at 8 pm under the auspices of the Roger Casement Sinn Féin Club
The panegyric will be delivered by Captain J.R. White [.] Co-founder with James Larkin, of the Irish Citizen Army, Soldier of Freedom in many lands, but most of all in his own loved Ireland. Few living men can better relate the significance of Casement's contribution to Irish beauty. the meeting will be followed bt a concert of Irish songs and music [.] Admission free [.] Come! and join in this tribute to Ireland's martyr who in this city of London delivered himself up for our loved Land [.] /
